TOMORROW: Sale-a-palooza – “Books, Bakery, and Bargains” sale on September 30 from 8am to noon. This is a part of the Holypalooza 7th Street Church Row sales at all ministry sites.

Unity Presbyterian Church is having a Fall Craft Fair on September 30 from 9 am to 2 pm.

On the first Sunday of each month, contributions to the DEACONS’ FUND are received. These funds aid the distressed and afflicted of our community. Pew envelopes are available.

 

“Here I Am Lord” is our Sunday School theme.
Classes for preschool through adult meet each Sunday at 9:30 am.

The Coalition of Terre Haute Neighbors invites the community to a panel discussion about the needs of refugees and immigrants in Indiana.

Learn how you can be a neighbor to refugees and immigrants in Indiana!
Refugees and immigrants have extensive needs for basic items we often take for granted (see below).
The Coalition of Terre Haute Neighbors invites Stuff the Bus donations that will be distributed in Indianapolis on Saturday, Oct. 7.
Anyone is also welcome to join the caravan to Indy and participate in the event for which you will meet refugees/immigrants and see first-hand how our help matters!
Details, including departure time, will be shared at the panel discussion. Or, you can call the church office at 812-232-5049 after Sept. 26.
WHEN: Donations received at the panel discussion on Oct. 1. Donations also received from 12-3:30pm on Oct. 2-6 or can be brought with you if you intend to participate in the distribution on Oct. 7.
WHERE: Donations should be brought to Central Presbyterian Church, 125 N. 7th Street, Terre Haute, IN.
Desired Items Include:
 All sizes of DIAPERS. Please purchase small packages; or if you choose to buy jumbo box, please place 10-12 diapers in a sealable baggie with the size clearly marked on the package. Packages of BABY WIPES.
 Regular sized bottles of SHAMPOO or SHAMPOO+CONDITIONER (in the same bottle).
 Individually wrapped BARS OF SOAP.
 All sizes of FEMININE HYGIENE PADS (NO TAMPONS)
 Individually wrapped TOOTHBRUSHES and regular size tubes of TOOTHPASTE.
 SHAVING CREAM, DISPOSABLE RAZORS, and STICK DEODORANT.
 DISH SOAP, SPONGES and POWDER OR LIQUID LAUNDRY SOAP.
 NAPKINS, PAPER TOWELS, and TOILET PAPER.
 MEN’S AND WOMEN’S UNDERWEAR, 2 each in a baggie, clearly marked with gender and size.
 All sizes of SOCKS, 2 pairs each in a baggie, clearly marked with size (and gender if appropriate).
 Good condition/gently used KITCHEN WARE, APPLIANCES, DISH TOWELS, BATH TOWELS.
 Gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s FOOTWEAR.
The Women’s Book Club meets on Thursday, October 5 at 7:00 pm. The book to be discussed is News of the World by Paulett Jiles
