ANNOUNCEMENTS:

PC(USA) Peace and Global Witness offerings are still being accepted. This is the former Peacemaking Offering. 25% of giving is retained by our congregation to help those struggling through oppression and injustice. Special envelopes are available in the sanctuary or church office.

The Deacons say thank you for your generosity of $1,859 to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance for hurricane relief!

BABY SHOWER: Blake Amelia Guell, daughter of Matt and Angel Guell, was born in March and now we are showering her with our love and good wishes on October 22 during the fellowship time. A table in fellowship hall is set up to receive gifts or cards.

There will be a Celebration Dinner on Friday, November 3rd to celebrate our newly renovated Sanctuary. Doors will open at 6:00 pm with dinner served at 6:30. It will include the game/prize night and a dessert auction fundraiser by the 7th Cents Youth Group. Watch for upcoming details.

Special desserts are needed for the fundraiser auction on Nov. 3. Please contact Connor Scanlon (connor@thcpc.org) if you are willing to prepare something. Funds will be used for the youth mission trip next summer.

Central Christian Church Social Justice League presents “Strengthening Communities by Breaking Barriers: A Dialogue with member of the African-American Community” on Saturday, October 28 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at the church (4950 Wabash Av). Registration is required by Oct. 19 at cccsocialjusticeleague@gmail.com or by calling 812-877-9959. Ages 12 through adult are welcome. Lunch is provided.
