A special meeting of the congregation is called for Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the close of worship for the purpose of acting upon the pastor’s request that the Presbytery of Ohio Valley dissolve the pastoral relationship between him and Central Presbyterian Church effective at the close of ministry on Sunday, April 3, 2016.

The birth of Amzi Catena Davis will be celebrated with a baby shower on March 6. A table in fellowship hall will be available for gifts and cards to welcome her. Amzi won’t be able to join us, but her grandparents, Lant and Amanda Davis, will proudly show pictures and accept our congratulations.

Our Kids Hope mentors and the children of Deming Elementary need prayer partners. If you are willing to pray for this mission of CPC and for a specific mentor and their child, please contact Suzanne Downs at suzanne@thcpc.org.

The mission committee will collect food for the United Campus food pantry on the first Sunday of each month.
Thank you for any contributions to our food pantry you can make.  Please remember we need unopened packages and non-expired items to distribute.
Also Since this is a food pantry for college students we need your help to providing items that are easy to prepare and small containers for one or two people.

Audio recordings of sermons now available:
Did you miss a sermon?  Oh no!  But fret not, all is not lost; audio recordings of Lant’s and Scott’s sermons are now available on the church website, www.thcpc.org.    All of the August sermons have been successfully added.  There are also some (but not all) of the sermons from earlier in 2014 and 2015.   To find them, either go to this link: https://www.thcpc.org/sermons/  or, from the church homepage, select “About Us” and then “Sermons” to see the list. (Sometimes you may need to click on “Browse Series” once you are on the “Sermons” page to see the most recent addition.)  Sermon recordings should normally appear on the website the same afternoon they have been delivered.
