The last fellowship opportunity for 2013 is a 5th Sunday lunch on December 29 following worship.  Please bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share.  Meat, drinks and service will be provided.

Sunday School classes meet each week at 9:30 am. Preschool – room 108; Younger Elementary (K-2nd) – room 202; Older Elementary (3rd – 5th) room 103; Middle School – room 200; High School – room 201; Adults and Young Adults: Coffee and Conversation – FH classroom A; History of Christianity – FH classroom B; Christian Parenting – FH Classroom C.  THERE WILL NOT BE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES ON DECEMBER 29.
The Sunday School offering is money for milk at 14th and Chestnut. Recently there have been 70 to 80 children a day getting a snack and supper at the Center. This is a minimum of 1 gallon of milk and 70 paper cups used each day which is $7- $8. Please give generously. Sunday School Superintendent, Sandy Mead, is offering a challenge – if we get $35 (all classes) or more a week in offering, there will be a milkshake party each month!  It looks good for December!

The PRELUDES during Advent will feature a variety of church members and creative talents.  Arrive early to enjoy them!  Sunday School classes should dismiss at 10:15.

The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be on December 24 at 7:30 m.  A musical prelude will begin at 7:00 pm.  Childcare is provided.

The Worship Commission needs cookie donations for the Christmas Eve service.  As you bake for the holidays, please set aside some to share with your church family.

Commission and Committee Chairs: All annual reports are due in to the church office by 3:30 pm on Monday, January 6.

Parents’ Night Out/Youth Movie Night will be Friday, January 3.  Supper and childcare is provided for church member families from 5:30 to 9:00 pm.  Please notify the church office is your child(ren) or youth will be attending.
