There will be a called meeting of the congregation on Sunday, October 23 in the sanctuary after worship. The purpose of the meeting is to approve a bridge loan to finance building repairs.
Information was recently sent to all members regarding our church renovations and the need for a capital campaign to raise monies for said repairs. Below is a list of meeting to discuss the repairs and capital campaign. Please select which meeting best fits your schedule.

Our Kids Hope ministry is in need of mentors, substitute mentors and prayer partners for the new school year. Last year, Central had 23 mentors. This year we have 10 (several moved away) and there is a waiting list of children in need of a mentor. If you would like to make a difference in the life of a child at Deming Elementary School, please contact Suzanne Downs at [email protected] for more information.

Bazaar Ladies Need Your HELP!   “Many hands make light work.”
Our delicious pre-bazaar dinner and evening of entertainment will be on Friday, November 4th, and our doors will open to the public for sales on Saturday, November 5th from 8 am-2 pm. It will be an exciting weekend, but it won’t happen by itself.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!   Donations of BOOKS and gently used household items should be placed in the storage room off of fellowship hall.  This year we will have a special area set aside for new or seldom played with toys and games that your children no longer want.  Our BAKERY section is always a favorite place for goodies.  How about making your favorite recipe of something tasty and bringing it to sell?

Volunteer workers are needed for several jobs.  Look for Donna Garrison or Barbara Schmidt downstairs after worship.  They have a list of jobs and tasks that you can select from.
