Learn what it is like to walk in a refugee’s shoes. There are 65 million of them worldwide. Friday, March 2310-2pm at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, Providence . A “walk” takes 30 minutes. Just come, or feel free to sign up for a slot through this link.

Jim Moles is starting a walking group.  If you would like to walk with church friends, meet at the south parking lot of Fairbanks Park, near the boat dock, just across from the YMCA at 10:00 Saturday morning. You can walk as fast or as slow as you like, as many laps as you like, there are lots of benches for resting, and we’ll be walking along the beautiful Wabash river. Kids are welcome, dogs are welcome, everyone of all ages is welcome. Come on out on Saturday mornings for some fresh air, exercise, conversation, and fun. If it rains, we’ll wait for better weather. Hope to see you! [The group will meet at Collett Park on March 24 to cheer on the Easter Egg Hunt!]

Celebrate a friend – We have received news that Rev. Lee Dorsey retired on February 25 after 32 years in pastoral and interim ministry. He served his first call as the pastor of Washington Avenue Presbyterian Church (now Unity) from 1986 to 1996 and worked closely with Central. His wife, Jan, requests cards and notes of congratulations and especially memories. A card from the Central congregation will be in fellowship hall on Sunday to sign. If you would like to send a personal note to Lee, please send it to his daughter’s home to keep it a surprise.
