Sunday is the SOUPER BOWL OF CARING! The youth will be collecting monetary donations and cans of soup to be given to the Unity and UCM Food Pantries. A soup lunch will be served following worship. Please bring a crock pot of soup to share or a dessert. Join the Super Souper fun while helping those in need.

Two CPR and First Aid Training Sessions are scheduled and are open to anyone that would like to attend. They will be Wednesday, February 27 from 10 am to noon and Saturday, April 13 from 9 – 11 am. Both will be held at the church. You may participate without being certified for free or with certification for $30.

Plan to attend the Lenten Study Series that will be held each Sunday, March 10 through April 7. Information on the classes is in the Herald and posted in the church. Supper will be served at 5:15 followed by worship and classes with the evening ending by 7:30.

Per Capita – Every Presbyterian congregation has the opportunity to pay an annual per capita assessment to the denomination. Central Presbyterian, maintaining its traditional support to the PC(USA) makes this payment in full. We ask every member to prayerfully consider making an additional contribution – over and above your offering pledges – to cover this expense for our church. The 2019 amount is $40 per person. A special envelope is in the offering box.

HELPING THE HUNGRY – Food insecurity is extensive in Terre Haute. The Mission Committee is collecting food and related need items to be distributed to a community food pantries during the year. Your donations can be placed in the grocery cart that will be in Fellowship Hall.
