ADVENT STUDY – Rev. Kevin Buchanan is leading a class on The First Christmas: What the Gospels Really Teach About Jesus’s Birth by Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan on the Sundays in Advent (12/4, 12/11, 12/18) at 9:30 am in the Lounge (room 202). This is an intergenerational discussion for middle school, high school and adults. Everyone is invited to come and add meaning to the holiday season.

There is NO Sunday School on December 25 or January 1. Classes resume on January 8.

Andrea Marlow, organist at Unity Presbyterian Church, will present an organ recital on December 16 at 7:00 pm. The concert will be performed on a pipe organ formerly used in Owens Hall at St. Mary of the Woods that was installed at Unity this spring.

We would like to cordially invite the congregation of the Central Presbyterian Church to the wedding of Madeline Whitaker and Guerric Good.  Their nuptials will take place December 31st at 8 p.m. on the campus of Indiana State University.  If you wish to join us, please email Beth ([email protected]) and she will take your reservation and share details.  Thank you all for being such an important part of Madeline’s life.  We have all been blessed by our time with the CPC family.

The Farrington Grove Chorale and readers from the Terre Haute community will present a service of Lessons and Carols at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church at 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 18.

Commission and Committee Chairs: All ANNUAL REPORTS are due in to the church office by 3:30 pm on Tuesday, January 3. This will enable the booklets to be assembled and printed for distribution on Jan. 8.
