SALT SHAKER DINNERS ARE BACK! A new year of Salt Shakers will begin this fall and sign-up sheets will be in the Fellowship area beginning Sunday, August 29th.  We will have only three dinners – Fall, Winter and Spring.  Please be sure to add your phone number and your email (if possible), and check if you are willing to host at your home.  For those of you who are new or have never participated, Salt Shakers are groups of seven, eight, or nine people grouped together for a meal and fellowship. The designated host schedules the meal at their home and provides the main dish while each of the others bring the rest of the meal.  The dinner in the next season has the groups “shaken up” so that you will have the opportunity to dine and fellowship with other friends.   It is a great way to meet people you may not know and to get better acquainted with those that you don’t get to see very often.  Please see Eunice Pate if you need more information.

The Seo family is moving to Boston and will need help loading the moving truck on Monday, August 13. Please see Min for details.

Applications for the McKee Family Scholarship through the Wabash Valley Community Foundation are now being accepted through August 23. This scholarship is for traditional and nontraditional college students that are members or regular attendees of Central Presbyterian Church. Information and application is at https://wvcfscholarships.communityforce.com/Login.aspx.

SUMMER CHALLENGE FOR KIDS -Children 12 years and younger may participate in an opportunity to get a free meal at Texas Roadhouse. Each child can pick up a bookmark for the event in fellowship hall. Read three books from the church library OR memorize three Bible verses (sent by email) by September 2 and you get a meal. A parent or Mrs. Moles has to verify that you have done the requirements. You take the bookmark to Texas Roadhouse and get a free kid’s meal. There are plenty of bookmarks to share with friends.

Are you missing a lawn chair? We still have a chair that was left it at the church picnic last year. It is under the hallway coat rack.
