The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be on April 15th at Collett Park from 10:00 to 11:30 am. All children are welcome to join the fun. Bring your basket!
The annual Pyoca Family Retreat is April 21-23. REGISTER NOW for this fun event. All ages and abilities are welcomed.
Who: Members & friends of the Central Church family – of all ages
                     When: Friday, April 21, 7:00 pm to Sunday, April 23, 1:00 pm                     Where: Pyoca Camp, Conference, & Retreat Center     Brownstown, IN (2 hour drive from Terre Haute
All weather cabins with 4 rooms; each room has 3 bunks and a bathroom

What: Fellowship, Worship, Sabbath time, and service work for Pyoca
Special activities for children and childcare during work time

Cost: $35 per person for adults and children 11 years and older; $20  5–10 years; free for younger children
($23 and $12 for one night)  This covers two nights lodging, snacks, Saturday breakfast & lunch, and Sunday breakfast.  The cost of a Sat. pizza supper will be shared.

Teaching in Long Underwear: My China  Ernie Danek will discuss his extensive time teaching in China outside of major cities which is the subject of his recently published book during the Sunday School time (9:30 – 10:20 am) in room 200 (lounge) on Sunday, April 23. All are welcome. The book is available in the church library.

Attention high school seniors and college students! Central Presbyterian Church is fortunate to have funds set aside to assist our college students achieve their higher education through the Surrell Scholarship. These book scholarships are available to church members and other active participants that will be working toward a degree at any level in the summer or fall of 2017. Applications are now available in the church office. They need to be received back in the office by May 7. Late applications will not be accepted. Scholarships will be presented on May 21.

Holypalooza will be held at Central on September 17. 

“The Jesus Way” VBS will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on June 19-22 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. More information will be coming.
