campaigns
The Peace & Global Witness Offering is received this Sunday, October 4.  This denominational offering supports efforts to inspire, equip and connect Presbyterians engaging in ministries of reconciliation and peace. 25% of the offering stays with our local congregation and the Mission Committee will determine how it is used. Offering envelopes (“Peacemaking Offering”) will be at the back of the sanctuary.
CLCA is hosting a baby shower for Evie Templeton this Sunday, October 4 following worship. You are invited to welcome Evie to our fellowship, and if you desire, bring a gift or card.
CROP Walk is this Sunday, October 4.  This 5k walk/run to raise funds to help alleviate hunger in our community begins at United Campus Ministries.  Registration is at 1:30 pm at UCM.  The goal is to have 100 runners/walkers to raise $1000.  Monies raised with go to Catholic Charities, 14th and Chestnut Community Center, Salvation Army and the UCM Food Pantry. Please help if you can. Online donations can be made at http://cropwalk.org
Dear friends in ministry,
Thank you very much for making Holypalooza 2015 a great success.  So many persons contributed to this event and worship: please pass along the praise to all of those deserving our gratitude.
Sincerely,
Lant

Audio recordings of sermons now available:
Did you miss a sermon?  Oh no!  But fret not, all is not lost; audio recordings of Lant’s and Scott’s sermons are now available on the church website, www.thcpc.org.    All of the August sermons have been successfully added.  There are also some (but not all) of the sermons from earlier in 2014 and 2015.   To find them, either go to this link: https://www.thcpc.org/sermons/  or, from the church homepage, select “About Us” and then “Sermons” to see the list. (Sometimes you may need to click on “Browse Series” once you are on the “Sermons” page to see the most recent addition.)  Sermon recordings should normally appear on the website the same afternoon they have been delivered.
