Find joy in everything you choose to do. Every job, relationship, home… it’s your responsibility to love it, or change it.
REGISTER NOW!! The annual PYOCA Family Spring Retreat is April 24-26. You can come to the camp for the entire weekend or for one day. The church family gathers for a weekend of fun, work and worship at our church camp in Brownstown, IN. Lodging is in the all weather cabins. We have camp fire and worship on Friday night, and Saturday is devoted to doing 4 hours of work for the camp (it gives us reduced rates and does our hearts good) in between worship and play. On Sunday morning, we have worship at 10:30, lunch and pack up to leave. Childcare is provided during the work times. All ages and abilities are welcome to join. Registration begins on April 5. The cost is $35 for adults and children age 11 and older; $20 for children 5 – 10 years; free for children younger than 5. One night is $23 and $12. This includes lodging, Saturday and Sunday breakfast and Saturday lunch. The cost of pizza is shared on Saturday night. See Cheryl Moles or Jill Conner for more information.
A baby shower to celebrate the birth of AnnaBeth Spencer will be on April 19 during the fellowship hour. You may bring a card or gift for the baby, if you desire.
A Memorial Service for Jan Kirschner will be on April 26 at 3:45 pm at Central.
A LIFE (Living In Faith Everyday) program will be held on Sunday, April 19 from noon to 1 pm in the fellowship hall classrooms. This will be a celebration of Earth Day and God’s creation. Families will work together to explore the ways to be good stewards of the earth. A light lunch will be served.
The Mission Committee is collecting items each month that will benefit community agencies. Please bring your donations and place them in the grocery cart in fellowship hall.

Therefore, church members and families are encouraged to read four chapters of The Acts of the Apostles each week through May 24.

Funds are available for graduating seniors and current college students (including non-traditional) who are part of the CPC family, whether by membership or participation in church life. Applications must be returned to the church office by April 30, 2015 to be considered.
