Using the Library
The library collections are housed in two spots in the fellowship hall:
- The children's section and games are maintained along the wall next to the library
- The remaining books are shelved along the wall next to the sanctuary stairs.
The books are catalogued along the Dewey Decimal System and the shelves are labeled according to subject. Soon, we will be installing a computer that can access a "card catalog" for the collection.
To check out a book, remove the card from the book's inside pocket, add you name and date, and place it in the box on the librarian's desk (near the children's section).
Our Librarians
Eunice Pate and Marsha Harder have answered the call of excellence
established by Alice Wert and her predecessor professional librarians in maintaining our church
library at high standards. We are grateful to all who have tended
this rich resource for congregational learning. If you have not
recently used the library, why don't you give it a try! You'll find
it up-to-date and full of reward for your efforts.
Have A Book To Share?
Have you read a book lately and want to share it with others? Bring
it to the "Bring One, Take One" shelves. You donate a book
and may take an available book.
