The Mission Committee is going to begin collecting specific  items for various organizations on the first Sunday of the month.
The items for August 3 are classroom items for teachers.  Please bring:

Hand Sanitizer                                        Zipper pencil pocket that fits in a binder

Sunday School teachers are needed for Middle School and High School.  Teaching teams share the duties of leading the Feasting on the Word lessons based on the lectionary readings of the week.  A desire to spend time with the youth is the only requirement.  The youth need adults that care for them and that want them to learn important faith lessons.  Please talk to Sandy Mead or Cheryl Moles to say that you are a part of the team.

The Annual Church Picnic is August 24 at 4:30 pm at Deming Park Lions 3 Shelter!  CLCA will provide chicken, table service and drinks.  Please bring a dish to share.

Salt Shaker Dinners resume this fall!!  Sign up to be a part of this fun fellowship opportunity, not to mention delicious meals!  See the Sunday bulletin or Herald for details.

Continue to bring the plastic caps and lids.  They will be given to Art Totality for a second bench and to Unity Presbyterian for a bench.
