Breakfast preparation

Breakfast preparation on summer Thursdays at 14th & Chestnut

14th & Chestnut is a signature organization we support at CPC. In the summer, they provide an important ministry to local low-income children who otherwise might not have engaging summer activities. Called Summer Rocks, the children get breakfast and lunch and participate in a variety of activities and field trips. Our part is to help prepare and serve breakfast every Thursday from June 8 – August 3 (2-3 people needed each time from 8-10am). If you would like to participate on one or more of our scheduled day options, see Cheryl Moles for more information: [email protected].

Things to know about serving:

-Serving is from 9:00 – 9:30 followed by a quick clean-up
-There are several stairs to get down to the kitchen and back up to exit
-Wear comfortable clothing and shoes
-It is fun and rewarding
